Save the date to meet Clarina Nichols, a courageous woman who moved to the Lawence area in 1858 to work for a free state Kansas. Donna Becker, a Bethel College graduate, retired administrator, and current Kauffman Museum board chair, will do a first person impersonation of Clarina Nichols. Becker is known in the area for her impersonations of important historical women.
