Program: New Stories of Old Murders

Although Harvey County is the smallest of all Kansas counties in square miles, it is no less affected by murder than any other.  Newly discovered stories of murder and attempted murder that touched the lives of Harvey County residents through the years provide a fascinating look at this shocking part of our local history.  As various kinds of emotions overflowed into tragedy, the conflicts directly and indirectly touched the lives of our ancestors who were involved in or witnessed or heard about these area events.

Presented by local historian Darren McMannis, this program will highlight several of these historic murderous tales which were once the talk of our county.

Open to the public.
$5 admission fee.  Museum members admitted free.
